Hi, and a big welcome from a native Texan. It was 1 degree this morning in Pecos, far West Texas, we have had 11, 12, 8, each morning this week and this morning 1 degree. This is so strange because it is nothing for it to reach 115 and higher here in the summer. Finally warmed up some this afternoon late and this evening it is a balmy 32. I lived in Ky. & W. Va. for 9 years in the 60's and though I had moved to the Artic, not it feels like the Artic here. Next week more of the same I guess. I planned to root for the Packers on Sunday, but I really wish they had kept their cold weather in Wisc. I hate the cold and I really think they brought it with them for luck. lol. I hope they take it back real soon, and keep it. lol. Glad you decided to join us. My mother didn't quilt, but I'm sure she is crochetting and visiting with you Mom while she quilts. I miss her so much even after 20 yrs.

Hi and welcome from Central Texas. It's been cold here too and I'm so glad that today the temp is above freezing. Glad to have you on the board.
