I haven't quilted in a few years and have quit smoking, so I need something to do with myself, now that I have all this time on my hands. I live in Indiana and have a 16 yr old and a 3 yr old still at home. I will be the one asking the silly questions.

Hi. Welcome on board. As I used to tell my students, there are no silly questions. Just questions someone else hopes will get asked so they don't have to hold up their hands! I think you'll like this board. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

Welcome! Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did. Unfortunately, my hands grabbed food instead of needle and thread. You have the right idea.
