I just finished piecing a lap quilt from some Jinny Beyer fabric I've had for almost 20 years.. yep robbed the stash. It's a beautiful stripe and I made a kaleidoscope,. 8 pointed star quilt. basically purple green and black, with shaded black for corners and triangles. Have to go to the lumber yard before I can start quilting it.. have to build my quilt frames. I'm also working on a baby/toddler quilt that's applique. I'm designing it for a friend's baby boy.. it's various sea creatures and scenes.. sea turtles, seahorses, angel fish and killer whales (thanks to my roommate). That one I only have a couple of blocks left to design and make and then piece it together. And I'm collecting fabric to make a lone star or broken star.. That's what is actively going for right now anyway..lol.

Welcome. I have never hand quilted but am in awe of those who do. Send us some pictures. I would love to see some.
