Welcome from central Florida. I always wash first - just recently had both a light yellow and a light teal run like crazy. I just don't trust the fabric. I don't bother to cut the selvages until I straightening fabric up to use it. This site is a great place to find ideas!

I used to have a friend from England, she was a wonderful Lady!

She passed on a little over a year ago, I do miss her dearly.

Hello from Scotland, You will just love this forum so many tips to pick up and there is always someone willing to help if you get stuck with anything you just have to ask. The only drawback being you will be on this forum way to much enjoying youself. Have fun learning
