Welcome from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Washington. We are having a very cloudy, foggy, rainy day. Perfect day to get on the forum, or do some quilting. I'm glad you have found sewing to be good therapy for you. Sewing is a good way to set goals and focus on them. Welcome.

Welcome to the quilting board, I know you will love it here just as we all do. Many of us have depression and other medical problems that quilting has proved to be therapeutic for. A good many of us have fibromyalgia and sometimes we get in a little group to commiserate. Depression is almost always a part of FM, so if you wanna vent, just pop me a PM and I'm always happy to listen. Huggggggs and smiles, Linda aka wildyard

Welcome from the Capitol City. Quilting is my therapy, also. It seems depression comes with age. I never knew what it was until my sixties, when I couldn't do all of the things I use to do. Now, the seventies and I refuse to give up the things I love to do. Quilting makes me gutsy. I won't give up and be old. I will go down fighting....

Hi
From Blackpool, not so far away, it’s lovely to here from you, I have just joined too Isn't it a wonderful site. I'm so glad you have found a passion for quilting it is also great for insomnia I quilt in the small wee hours of the morning when all is quiet, it stops your mind from wondering when you can't sleep because problems keep whirling round in your brain. I would love to see some of your projects we could swap notes.
