Hi, im Steffi from Germany. I live with my dear husband Michael in the northwestern part of it, near the Dutch border, in a small town surrounded by green fields and woods.
I´m quilting for around 15 nears now, and for at least 10 years I´m collecting 30s reproduction fabrics. These are my favorites, and most of my quilts are made out of them.
I love sewing and quilting by hand in the good old-fashioned way, but I just bought a quilting foot for my sewing machine and want to do a little machine work, too.
At the moment I´m working at a Grandmother´s Flower Garden top in lavender shades, and finally the end is in sight. Come visit my blog if you want, there are pictures of it.:D
I also like to work with selvages and made one quilt top so far.
Another interest is my dolls house, and so I made some small quilts in 1/10th scale using paper piecing.
