Welcome to the board!

If you look to the right (below my post) you will see the arrow and Reply
If you want to quote what someone else wrote you hit Reply with quote arrow.
I don't know what that third one does! I never used it

I just clicked on the " and it says multiquote. I think that means if you see 2 or more things people write and want to include them in your message.

Hope this isn't clear as mud!

Hi! Welcome from Minneapolis! To add to the instructions given by SusieQ, look at the little toolbar that appears after you hit "reply". On the right side and then moving left is a comment icon, then a film strip, then what looks like a movie screen. If you want to post a picture, just hit that icon and you'll be prompted to attach a photo from your computer. Then hit "upload" and it will appear in the message box for you. Then you can hit submit and you're all done.

I don't get to Des Moines very often (my cousin used to live there, she grew up in Burien and moved back near the 5 corners area), but I usually get to Carriage Quilts about once a year -- haven't been to Running Stitches before but will soon now that I know about it!

We haven't had a store in Renton for years, ever since Pieces closed Quiltworks NW in Bellevue has moved and reduced their fabric selection, they just have a tiny shop now. Pacific Fabrics moved into their old location. Recently I went to Gossypium in Issaquah, they were nice and had a great selection, but sort of difficult to navigate with about as many bolts on the floor as there were in the shelves.

I'm trying really hard to use the fabrics I currently have -- but somehow you always have to buy something more to use up what you have! Although I believe in shopping locally, more and more I'm buying on-line especially when my closest options are Joann, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby (Issaquah).
