Hello, everyone, I'm new here and new to quilting.
I am about to embark upon my first real quilt.
I did make a "blue jean" quilt once, but the one
I am attempting to do now is very much more detailed.
I am looking for any advice, information that I can find.
I am reading multiple articles on and off the net.
Have bought several first time quilting books.
Here is a link to the quilt I am going to do.
Scroll down, it's about half way down the page.
I love it. It looks like a sampler and has houses in it.
I am crazy about "houses".
It is a strip a month club, so it will take me at least
a year to get the top done.
It looks difficult, but with it being a slow project, I will have
plenty of time to work on each strip individually, hoping to
get it right.
What do you all think?

That is a cool site. The quilt you are attempting looks hard, but fun. Thanks for sharing. I live in Corpus Christi TX. I teach music 2 days a week so I don't get to quilt often, but I love thinking about it and looking and reading this site. Enjoy.

I'll try!!
That will be a good excuse for me to try to figure out that new digital camera I bought.
But I've seen some quilts that some of these people on this site make....I don't think I will be able to hold a candle to theirs.
