Hi from Montana!!

Hi, everyone. I have been reading this board for a couple of weeks now and finally decided to join.
I am an avid quilter who quit working full time to start selling my quilt projects full time. What a leap of faith! I have been doing markets, craft shows, and festivals for about 6 years now, and have become quite successful at it. (I do a market every weekend all year long) I also have an Ebay store where I sell alot of my items.
I do large quilts on a special order basis. I did three double wedding ring quilts for a lady at xmas time. What a project! Most of the items I sell are table runners, totebags, placemats, wallhangings, etc. Also do a line of fleece socks and mittens.
I get to sew 12-14 hours everyday. And I still love it. Well, better run, I have to get ready to set my booth up in our mall tomorrow morn. Look forward to joining in on some great quilt conversation!!!!

Welcome to the group! I'm fairly new myself, but am anxious to share in the life of quilting. You sound quite ambitious and child free. It must be nice to be able to sew 12 -14 hours a day. I'd be in my own heaven.
Unfortunately, I still have to care for house, yard, and cooking. sigh, someday I'm going to be rich and have maids to do all the mundane and allow me freedom of expression. (sorry, the meds will take effect soon!)
Glad to see you,
Sharon from NC

Wilma, not sure what you might be looking for. I just tend to make some of them up as I go. I have alot of things just in my head!!!
My main table runner that I do is a star block. I only have to use 3 different fabrics and have made it fairly easy to get done in a jiffy. I can do about 4-5 in a day. I do offer these in a kit on my ebay store site.
I just started doing them in the kits, so only have a few made so far. But have been selling too.
My ebay store is: Tricia's Quilts, Fabric, and More

Sharon, I have actually made this quilt thing into my job. I just couldn't stand to work for the people I was working for anymore and wanted to finally do something that I enjoyed. It took about 3 years of struggle, but it has finally taken off and I doubled my business this past year.
And your right, my boys are grown, so it does leave me more time for myself. My house isn't as clean as it used to be, but I can live with a little dust here and there!!!!! My husband really helps me out as much as he can. He'll do dinner when he knows I'm really pushing to get orders out.
The one thing I hate to do is get groceries cause I have to stop sewing to go the store!!!!!!!!!!
I'm excited about getting to know everyone on this board!!!
