Hi, I love yellow too, since I do usually make coordinated scrap quilts (never could pick five fabrics for a whole quilt) I try very hard to include yellow in several blocks, and sometimes, more than several!
Want to swap a few scraps--five inch squares work well. Let me know, we would need snail mail addresses, and I don't put that out in the world, just to specific people.
May all your corners meet,
gail

Hi everyone, I need to introduce myself. I have been reading the message board hurridly for about a week, and I like it very much. So very informative. I am just about computer illerate and haven't learned how to insert pictures or anything. I have been a sewer/quilter since cotton fabrics were 39 cents a yard and you could rent a Singer for $7.00 a month. But it doesn't mean I did anything right. I am still correcting bad habits, so this Forum will be wonderful for me. I jumped in on the "Wash or not wash" subject. Hope you all will put up with me!

We have a married daughter at Columbus Junction, we go thru Marengo sometimes, on the way to that town. Depends on whether I get to visit quilt shops at Amana, purely do love Fern Hill. I hope you appreciate how pretty your part of Iowa is. Good Night, Gail (the old one)

Hi and welcome from another Iowan. I am also new to the board after "visiting ", reading and learning from the many posts I took the plunge and signed up. I live in Algona in north central Iowa. Where are you?
