Gramma==who is your sister and your daughter? One DL is from Norway. I lived in Chelsea before Marengo and spent a lot of time in Belle Plaine. Also worked there for a short time.

I live in the town of Independence. We have 2 quilt shops right in our town. Several other shops not far. My friends and I take road trips. For the very first time they took me to Paducah. OMG!!! Never believed my eyes.

Hello and welcome from an Iowa girl! Lucky you to be in Algona--I stopped at both shops on return from visiting a sick relative in Spencer. And it's home to Sandy Gervais as well.
