I vacationed in Michigan every year for about 15 years. It was always camping with friends up by Alden - Bellaire area. It was always on memorial day weekend. Morel hunting was a big draw. I miss those days and, those morel mushrooms.

Welcome to the Quilting Board.

Hello and welcome to the world of quilting. I've lived in Ga for 27 years but still get excited seeing the Mich. "from". Do try to get to "Shipsey", you will have sensory overload if you go without a list. Envy you.

Hello, I am also from Michigan, Rochester Hills exactly. My call is also gma except I am gmajudyjohn. I am a grandmother so it seemed fitting. Isn't MI beautiful this time of the year. Should be for the next six weeks or so. I am a fairly new quilter. I started 20 years ago but family and job kept me from persuing. I am now retired and have time to give it my best. I have about 7 projects in various stages. Must get busy and finish a couple so I can get started on Christmas presents.
