I'm new to this site. The reason for my visit is my quest to find some Chicago cubs cotton fabric so I can make a quilt for my brother who is a die-hard fan of the cubs.I've discovered I can pay $120 for a yd. but no way! I'd rather use fleece. I've also thought of drawing the cubs logo and appliqueing it onto a quilt top. Thanks for any advice out there in cyber-land.

Could you scan your images onto transfer paper & hot iron them onto fabric? I know you have to be careful about logos but this is for personal use. My art students used to want to make player puppets with accurate uniforms. It was easiest to scan the colored design and iron it on fabric. Mets & Yankee fans here! You could scan fan photos too. If you don't have a scanner, your local copy store can help!
