Hi Everyone,
What a website!
I was just introduced to this site by a friend (thanks, Debbie!) and I've already learned how to make several interesting blocks!
I made my first quilt block when I was about 10, but I've been quilting "seriously" now about 8 years. Our church has a quilting ministry in which we distribute quilts to various places around our small town (Hospice, children's organizations, etc.). I have only contributed about 5 lap sized quilts to the effort, but this group is amazing! We reached the 1,000-quilt-given-away mark this year, and we're still going strong for our Heavenly Daddy. All of us are committed to using our talents for Jesus Christ!
Since I have a "real job" (professor at a local state university) I am not able to quilt as much as I would like, so websites like this are amazing! Quick ideas, help with questions, and "friends" to share with!
I look forward to spending some time quilting in the next few weeks! Quilt on, everyone, quilt on!
Susan
