Hi Barb and welcome from West Virginia. We definitely have 4 seasons here, and will get some snow this evening, not enough to cause a lot of problems though. Hope you get your grandma's old quilt looking like new. Several years ago I bought several old tops and quilts through EBay that had problems and I was going to fix/finish them. Now, I no longer want to work on them. I only have so much time, and that is not how I want to spend it, so they are in the attic, waiting for me to decide what to do with them. Enjoy this board. It's great!

I guess I should have told you all that I have lived in CA for 50 years and went back east to help my daughter with her children until they moved to Australia. My daughter was teaching at Harvard. She has a PhD in Dental Science and taught the Gross Anatomy and Genetics classes there to the 1st year Med students. Her Hubby was becoming a dentist and studying at Harvard. So I went back to help with the kids. My son-in-law has finished and they all now live in Melbourne Australia. I went down there with my daughter last Jan and stayed until June to help her with the kids while SIL finished up his schooling. I owned a home in CA and so that is why I have returned here. I am making an Autumn Quilt. I am doing the quilting now. Here is a picture. Got to figure out how to add a picture first. lol.
