    Hello from Spain

I've been directed here from MSCQ forum, and I'm delighted! I was looking for info about a vintage sewing machine that has come to my hands, and whether it could be repaired. Seems this is the right place!

    This is Veva:

Now I'm plunging into the Vintage Enthousiasts Forum to get practical advice.

Welcome. My husband lived in Seville and Viga as a child--I've always wanted to visit your country, and I'm interested to hear about quilting in Spain.

Thanks to all of you! Quilting is starting to become popular in Spain. The drawback: fabric is extremely expensive (around 20€/meter in LQS). But it's fun! I actually started because mice had eaten up a pile of bedsheets and tablecloths in my family's old farm house. The pieces that I saved, I used in my first quilt. Then I had the bug and started buying fabric, then I upgraded my sewing machine, then I remembered having seen this old one...
Most of you have probably followed similar steps...
