Hello!
Hi, I'm Deb from the east coast of the USA.
I come looking to learn lots and meet new people who share my interests in making clothing and accessories. With the scraps, I make scrappy quilts to be donated to wherever they're needed, such as to the local pet shelter.

Welcome Deb from SE Michigan to the QB! Jump right into the difference conversations going on here all the time. There is something for everyone no matter your skill or what you are making! There is always someone to answer questions too. Many of us make scrappy quilts. I love scrappy quilts and just finished 2 scrappy tops since the beginning of the year. I for one look forward to hearing from you a great deal. Again welcome to the QB

Hello from the Left Coast, Seattle area.
I often buy bags of scraps at the thrift store that are obviously from garment construction. When I young and had a figure, I did a lot of garments and costuming but then when I got... less shapely... I gave up fitting things because things didn't fit anyway and decided to give up entirely on garments and concentrate on quilting. Now that I'm smaller again, my excuse for not sewing garments is I don't have a serger. Sure, I could get a serger but that's not the point!
