Welcome from Maine. I too have rescued an oldy but goody Singer. There is a thread dedicated to vintage sewing machines with lots of great info in it. Fabric sure is fun to buy and create beautiful quilts with them for others to enjoy. We like pictures, hope we get to see some of your work.😎
