Well, talk about off to a great start. What a brilliant welcome - thanks to all. Nice to see some fellow Aussies here too and a fellow vintage machine affecinardo to boot!

How can anyone not love the internet?????

Being a newbie can be an advantage to all of us. Your out looking and searching for new things while the rest of wait for you to share what you have learned. The old saying "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" doesn't apply to quilters. We want to know everything.
Welcome from Kentucky.

Welcome from Oklahoma.

It only takes one to get you going. Soon you will be checking out the fabric in stores, and watching for quilts in the movies.
