I am new at quilting. In fact I have never done a quilt but want to try. Can anyone suggest what would be a good starter quilt for me.

You could go to "Quilter's Cache" , just type that in. There are many block designs and are rated by levels of difficulty.

Hi, from Ohio, I have found that the easiest block to start with is a nine patch. It is basically 2colors, four squares of one color, and five squares of another color. A good site for the basics is http://quilterscache.com/N/NinePatchBlock.html. Hope you have a good time with your new hobby.

Welcome from Ireland. I agree with 9 patch. Are you quilting by hand or machine?
