If you have the 820 on the Bernina frame it is a very nice set-up. I've seen it working with the computer to stitch out designs, superb however I can't imagine moving it every time you want to just piece. The 820 is a HEAVY sucker! If getting another machine for sewing isn't an option, I would look at maybe a rolling microwave cart? If you had something with wheels about the same height as the frame, you could maybe transfer it with the wheels to your sewing cabinet?

I have one machine for my frame, one for piecing. My goal is to take the quilting machine off of the frame as infrequently as possible. My piecing machine, by the way, is a singer 15-91 (vintage!) which was not expensive.

And welcome to the board!
