Thanks everyone for your warm welcome.
Didn't watch the Royal Wedding although I maybe should have to have seen her dress. Love the pageantry and all that but not really a Royalist. And no, my wedding was nothing like that.. we got married on the beach .
Watched an interesting documentary on the Scot-Irish settling in these parts, I'm half Scot, half English and now have an Irish surname, lol. So maybe we should move nearer the mountains? lol
I do get a little homesick occasionally and although I do think this is a beautiful state, I miss the moors and dales of Yorkshire and the green. green grass of home. Still the beach here is nice and the countryside is very pretty when get out there. looking forward to seeing a little more of your country when time will allow us to.
