Hello,where are you in Alaska, we usually spend May to Sept.
around the state with our base being Fairbanks. Sure missed it
this year, this is the first summer we have spent in the south
since my husband retired in 2000, Talk about 'HOT', WHEW !!!

Hi and Welcome this is a great group of ladies! I was born and raised in Marietta, Atlanta swallowed it up a while back, Cobb
county. I still have wonderful relatives and friends in towns like
Dallas, Thomson, Clermont, Rock Mart,Cleveland and Gainesville.
It will always be "HOME".

Ak., Tx.,La., Ms., and beautiful Montana.
My therapy for life are God, Family, Friends, Quilting,
Quilting, Quilting and the America we grew up in !!!!

Sounds wonderful. We frequently go through Clermont and Gainesville. We kept a camper in Clarkesville for about 11 years, and the campground owner's family was from Gainesville... So over the years, we traveled a good bit up in that area of Georgia. Love it up there. We take Hwy. 441 straight up to NC most of the time, but will take the side roads through some of these places every once in a while now...
