Welcome Kat - you will gain enough confidence to finish your quilt real soon I am sure. I want to see it. We all just love looking at everyone's ideas. So again, welcome from Nevada.

Hello Kat and welcome from Germany. I would consider your baby quilt to be a WIP (=work in progress) rather than an UFO (=unfinished object). Please make sure to show us some pics, even when you feel stuck. You'll get lots of encouragement and helpful hints, if you want them. BTW, so lovely andthoughtful of DH to get you a sewing machine!
