Welcome Quiltlady...glad to have you join us. I had a friend who said the same thing you said..."when I retire I won't be able to afford all my fabric, yarn, patterns, etc. so now that I'm working I'm going to buy whatever I want so I'll have plenty to do when I do retire on a limited income!!!!" It didn't work for my friend but hopefully it works for you. You'll love the board. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable people who are happy to lend a hand with any quilty problem you come up against. Enjoy the board.
P.S. Your avatar is so darned cute! Mouse meeting Mouse! :P

Hi OldmanQuilter: How nice to have you on the board.. We have a few men but hopefully as quilting "catches" on we'll have more of you guys joining in. We have a couple in our quilt group who are in their late 80's. She does the piecing and he does the hand quilting. Both are a joy and the man does really nice work. Enjoy!

I make it to eastern WA every once in a while. To flat and brown for me.
I see some great sounding quilt guilds on the East side when I search the web. Wish I could visit them all- epecially to listen to some of their guest apeakers.
