Thanks Steph, I love my little town of Wendell. My dream is to open that shop but I need to sell my house in Fla. which has been in the market since I left in 2006 with no luck, the housing market is still really bad down there for sellers.

We have 2 small supermarkets, a post office, 2 banks, 1 family owned drugstore, 1 McDonald, a few gas stations and 3 schools. You have to drive 15 to 20 minutes to get to any major stores but we love it the way it is. Is peacefull and country.
You can see how hard it is for me to get quilting materials. That is why I'm planing to open a Quilt/Craft store in the near future.
Welcome to the board and to North Carolina. I am just down the road from you in Knightdale. :)

PS - when you open that quilt shop and my DH and I retire, we'll move to NC and I'll open a quilt retreat near your quilt shop and we'll go into a reciprical business together!! Oh, what fun to dream! :D

Thanks Cissy, one of my friends in Florida goes to Alaska in one of those cruise ships every year and every year she brings back more beautiful pictures. I would love to visit Alaska some day.

Thank you sweetie, Yeah I love my farm and is a lot of work plus I also work from home doing medical coding and billing and I still have a 12 yr old at home. And I manage to do it all by myself because my DH is still in Florida waiting on his transfer, he works for the Feds.
Last night I went into Barnbum website "Churchminis" and I totally fell in love with one of her minis named Whisper and her quilts are awesome.

Thank you for the welcome and the compliment. I'm still learning about quilts, as you see most of what I have put together is easy, is the quilting part that I need to learn.
