Ohhh, Nanaimo. I grew up in Seattle and every year we went to Victoria. I love it there, I could spend forever just exploring with an occasional tea at the Empress and, oh dear, I've forgotten theother place, not a tourist place. And the museum. Oh, it was the Blethering Place.
I'm new too, I'm just learning after retirement and I'm so glad there are such nice people here to ask questions of. Have a Nanaimo bar for me. Well, maybe half a one, they are kinda rich.

Welcome from Texas. I moved here from the Seattle, Wa area 16 yrs ago. We visited the vancouver,ca area a few times when we lived in seattle for 10 yrs. Beautiful country. Hope you enjoy the board. Have been sewing and quilting off and on for the past 50+ yrs. More into quilting here lately.
