Hi from Vancouver Island in BC Canada

Thanks to pollyjvan9, I found this wonderful place. I have been lurking for a few days but have finally decided to introduce myself. I am Maureen or quiltknit, I have been quilting for about 20 yrs and recently found applique. I'm currently working on various projects as I'm sure you all are. I am retired, love to garden also but enjoy the days like today where it is raining, blowing and I can sit in my sewing room all day. Thanks for having me. I have already learned quite a few things. It's true...you can teach an old dog!

Hi Maureen, from another BC'er. Although I live in northern BC (geographically the center), my family is in Nanaimo and I'll be there for two weeks in late March looking after my grandkids. It's always nice to see "neighbours" on-line.
