I stumbled across this board in my never ending quest to find people who quilt! Not professionals mind you - but people who love to quilt and will share the joys and tears this art brings.
I've sort of quilted for about 10 years. I'm not a great quilter, but I've learned that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. My family is thrilled with my quilts. My friends love it when I give one and to this day, no one has ever pointed out a mismatched seam etc.
I have been lurking reading posts for a bit. Finally got up my gumption to leap in and say a few things. Thought this would be a good time to say Howdy!
I have a DH who doesn't quilt, but LOVES to help me pick things and make decisions. He is pretty good at colors! I also have my ever present quilting companion, Caruso the Cat. Caruso believes that I quilt so that he has something to do. NOTHING is off limits in quilting as far as he is concerned. (I'm trying to figure out how to attach a picture of him and a quilt to my profile).

Hi Carrie, Welcome from southern Minnesota.Passed Virginian for 18 yrs. But come for regular visits when the hot flashes are not around. Very glad you jumped in and looking forward to your pictures. :lol: :thumbup: :thumbup:
