Just joining this board and finding it informative and welcoming in tone so far. I have been actively piecing for a number of years now and actually quilting for a few. Finishing the top with more than tying is what I now consider quilting although tying has it places in my life --like the someday project with old jeans and flannels! LOL Current projects include a Split Rail Surprise that has grown and now I have to figure out how to end it. I am finishing machine quilting a May Basket wall hanging where I used my choice of colorways instead of the pattern--I like my lighter version best. I have a tabletopper/small quilt Pineapple done in teals and a tumbling block wall hanging that will just take an hour or so to finish--but now that summer has finally surfaced here I find it hard to stay inside on time off.

I'm still deciding on batting for the topper and a design if any. Open to suggestions. Thanks for the welcome.
