Hi from the other side of Washington. I live about 80 north of Spokane on the Columbia river is just 2 miles away. You will love the quilters, always ready to help with problem sewing and meet new friends. I visit Ocean Shores several years ago when I went to a workshop in the area. Beautiful coast.

We have one quilt shop in town - Cranberry Bay Fabrics & More. There is one in Aberdeen - Quilt Harbor and then over in Westport we have Quilter's Stash. Yes, give me a shout and we can have coffee and talk about quilting!

I'm amazed at how friendly everyone is...well, not really. Aren't all quilters friendly? My avatar is my first quilt bigger than a table topper. It is Hunter's Star and Peggy Gelbrich from Yamhill, OR came to Ocean Shores to teach this to our local quilt guild, the Sea Pal Quilters of Ocean Shores. She's a fabulous teacher and I'm sure some of you know her work.

I'm hearing so many comments about spending too much time here and I understand that already! But it's so much fun to see everyone's work and to hear about your lives. I'm sure I'll have some questions in the future.

I walked on your beach for a little bit last year. We even got to see deer as we left the parking lot. Welcome to the board!
