Thank you all for the warm welcome! To those of you from Texas, I moved up here from Houston area & have family all over the state. I love being in Tyler!

Hi! I'm from Gilmer ,Tx. I am 64 and very new to quilting! I started with a baby quilt, for my first great grandbaby!! I've got it all together but I haven't mastered machine quilting yet. I got a new sewing machine just a couple of weeks ago and am learning that too,it's computerized Singer 9960, not nothing like my old one. I've enjoyed everything on this site so far. I have a great day!

Hi!! I'm from Detroit, Tx. Welcome to the Board! Wish all of us in NE Tx, could get together for a quiltingBee..Detroit is just east of Paris. I just machine quilted my first try. Believe me it was just that... a try. Good luck quilting!!
