Hi Neighbor, I am from north-east Connecticut--right next door. I have an older Viking(1976)and it has been a workhorse over the years from fine sewing, quilting, jeans, tayloring,up to horse blankets and canvas patching. Looked at the rose and almost bought one, but decided against a newer computerized machine. Also have an older singer, a new Janome (Backup machine) and an antique New Home treadle. I sew most every day and just enjoy all my machines. Welcome to the forum and Happy Sewing!!
