Hello Ania, I come from the UK and I'm in a similar position to you.....I'm learning to quilt, but because there are no classes in my area I'm having to learn from books and from the internet! Just keep coming on here!....you'll learn so much from the great people on this site, and if there's anything you cant work out just ask!! There will always be some-one willing to help!

No Ania! I'm definately not an advanced quilter! I only started earlier on this year, but Ive always done a lot of dressmaking ( and my grandaughters dancing costumes when she was little) so I knew how to use a sewing machine!
I just use an ordinary Janome machine which my daughter bought for me years ago (my old one was a bit heavy)......nothing fancy but its certainly earned its keep in my house!
I think I may be treating myself to a new machine soon, when I can decide which one!
