Hello from Maryland, and you inherited a Graybar? Nice! Does she work well? If I were new to sewing, I'd take a class. While you CAN learn on youtube videos, nothing is quite as helpful as an actual person right there answering questions as you go along. Once you get the introductory part out of the way, videos are great.
