Hi I'm Muriel, I live in Allison Park, near Pittsburgh, Pa. I've sewn most of my life, but only started quilting in 2002. And I love it !!! My family is overwhelmed with quilts and want me to stop. haha I just bought a HQ16 and I love being able to finish my quilts on that immediately without waiting. Can you tell I am sometimes a bit impatient. ? I'm looking forward to chatting and learning from all of you.

    Hi Muriel
Welcome to our wonderful wacky family. You will love this forum. Everyone here is so friendly. We would love to see some of your quilts if you would like to show us. If you have too many quilts I know that we would take them off of your hands. :) We wouldn't want your family to have too many  Just give us the word and we will all send you our snail mail addresses.
    Welcome
    Barb

I feel bad now. Lots of you are from the same area and have the possibility of meeting. PLUS, you have quilt shops. Here is little ole' me, all alone in the desert, and the closest Walmart is 80 miles. But I sure do apppreciate reading all of the messages! Sara

    Hi, Sara!
I'm sorry to hear that the closest Wal-mart to you is
A very long 80 miles away! Hopefully,
you have found some good, dependable mail-order
companies from which to order fabrics and notions.
    Happy Quilting!

Sarah.....I would love to see some pictures from your backdoor. I would love to live where you do. The warm dry air would be so much better for breathing I love quiet and just listen to nature.

Here ya go, Ruth. This is outside my kitchen door. No clouds. Lots of sunshine. The benefits of living here certainly outweigh the distance to good shopping. Sara

Beautiful southern utah. Just 5 miles from the AZ border.
