Your photo of your beautiful dogs on your quilt blocks made me laugh...my two always have to walk on or sit on my blocks when lay them out. I think it's "Pay attention to me, not to your old sewing!" Love the scrap quilt, BTW.

My two spoiled, rotten Airedales are a big part of our lives. Ruby is nine and came from a backyard breeder and Sam will be four in January and he came from Airedale Rescue. You can read about them here.

Our UPS man is dog friendly. He brings biscuits when he brings the package to the door. If we are not home, he leaves the package with two biscuits on top of it on the porch. This morning while walking my dogs, he passed us and slowed down and tossed two dog biscuits to us. I like dog friendly people.

my UPS guy is ok with the dogs, but our Fed Ex guy is very scared of my Lab, we have a circle drive and he drives thru and never gets out of the truck he sets it out the truck and leaves lol, we only left her out front once but I guess that was enough

I have a miniature Dachshund. He sits by me feet as I sew.

Tink is my very spoiled Chihuahua. My little shadow...She has a bed next to my machine, but if it is storming or she is afraid of something, she is under my feet or sitting on the foot controller.

I love border collies, they seem to share many qualities with Australian cattle dogs. I've heard they are super active though, which has kept me from adopting them...I'm sedentary (quilting, reading, etc) and wouldn't want the dog to be unhappy. How has it been with your dogs? Did you ever read Nop's Trials? It's a great book about border collies.

I checked out your airedale quilts...they are just gorgeous. I especially loved how you made each of the airedales different on the Stairway quilt. You are very clever! Are they appliqueed? How did you design them to be in such realistic poses?

I have two retired racing greyhounds. Lizzie is 11 and Dash is 14. My avatar is Frankie. He was 10 and died last December.
