It is a personal choice, there are so many types. I guess keep trying them on until you find one that feels right to you. Some are made so you can crimp them a bit to get a good fit :D:D:D

I use a leather thimble but the last one I bought is really stiff and so i don't use one at all.

Welcome to you! This site is wonderful and I know you will like it. I finally found a cheap plastic one that fits well and works. Keep trying until you find just the one for you.
