04-26-2013Hi, I'm Yet-Another-Susan, and I stumbled across this quilting board while doing a search on crayon quilts, finding an excellent tutorial on your board.
I've done mostly small art quilts, with the largest quilt made being a lap quilt for an elderly friend. My interest is in art quilts involving fused applique, dying, painting, coloring pencils and crayons. A particular interest at the moment is pictorial quilts. I'm also learning free-motion quilting. I've done some, but not very well, so want to improve that skill.
After perusing the tutorials and the threads on the board, I look forward to learning from you all, as well as eventually participating with whatever little bits of knowledge I've managed to get stuck to me over the years.
I'm very glad I found this place!
