Welcome from East Central ALABAMA!
So sorry we are so far apart. :-( :-(
You live in the perfect area, close to Mobile, right?
I live in a rurally isolated area. The closest LQS to me is over fifty miles away.

Hubby is an excellent companion, but does not share my interest in quilting or quilt/fabric shopping. Stands next to me in the fabric store with arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently........lol. Help!
Welcome and talk to your LQS owner about putting in a "hubby area" she might make more sales if wives aren't being rushed!!!

Hi and Welcome! I live in Crestview, Florida, which is in the NW Florida Panhandle, almost lower Alabama! Wish it were closer, but would love to meet in Pensacola sometime. A&E is a great place to shop. They also will let you use your JoAnns 40% off coupon on one cut of fabric.

Hi Craftydarlene! Both of my sons live in Crestview! One of them went to Margie's to pick up some military Hummer fabric for me last week! Small world isn't it?

Welcome to the Board from CALIFORNIA. I hope you meet someone here on the board that lives near you. If not-- join the local quilt guild and join a friendship group. Good Luck!!!

Hi from Michigan. I sure hope you find a buddy. It is probably terrible to shop with a toe tapper....
