Wink New to forum

Hi, I am new here and have just acquired a Pinnock Sewmaster that needs a lot of love. Does anyone have or know where I can get a manual for my new baby? Cheers The Old Dragon

Looks like you joined in 2013, but this is your first post. There is a section for vintage machines here on QB at https://www.quiltingboard.com/vbulle...thusiasts-f22/
.
Pinnock was a badged name on many machines. It may be like the ones seen at http://tailororfailure.blogspot.com/...w-manuals.html or http://eyemaozi.org/pinnock-sewmaster/ and both look like they have a manual.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?

Another way to post pictures can be found at 2021/2022, 2.5” Birthday Swap
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at Uploading photos

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

Default Hello from the Willamette Valley, Oregon!

Hello! We are 3 years new to sewing in general and two years new to quilting. We started sewing vigorously when the pandemic started by making masks for virtually everyone! You see, this is not political- my daughter, now 20 years old, was diagnosed at the end of January 2019 (age 16) with ovarian cancer- one in a million was her diagnosis. During that year we as a family had to mask up for her immune system was gone. Then, after ringing the bell to say she was in remission, we would later learn that the world would have to mask up. We learned quickly how to sew masks to help all around us. 4,000 masks later we began to learn how to quilt to make quilts for children in hospital. We reach out to our community and received so many donated fabrics.
We took the quilts, 104 total, to the hospital each time my daughter had an oncology appointment. Later my daughter was selected as a Wish Ambassador for Make-A-Wish Oregon. We took the new skills and love and gratitude for her caregivers and started a project (auctioning off quilts on FB) to raise Awareness and money to help other children receive their Wish… in one year we raised over $22,000 with our own quilts and donated quilts from around the United States. Now we serve Make-A-Wish Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
Now we need to reorganize our thoughts, the craft room! and focus to make this year even better. I’m late to this group/forum, but so excited to be a part of it all. If any quilters want to donate a quilt (or more) we would be honored to receive them. Message me any time. Here’s more about us: https://katu.com/amp/features/everyd...ncer-diagnosis

Sandpiper, had you started your own thread you would have had more howdys. I got a ride in a sailplane near Hillsboro in your valley last month. I am from Kansas.
