Default New here... How am I ever going to finish this quilt...

... without disturbing our cat Machouffel?

But I'm really determined to finish the quilting of this sampler this year...
This sampler has been hanging around for years now,

and I really should finish it in the near future...

But let me introduce myself:
A Belgian quilter, mother, wife, nature-lover and gardener (not necessarily in that order).
I do all my piecing and quilting by hand, I don't even own a sewing machine.
I have a full-time job in a mental healthcare institution, so there isn't much time left for quilting. I have accumulated quite a lot of UFO's, and I'm looking for support in finishing them :-), hence my joining of this forum!

I'm currently quilting this sampler that I call 'Bits and Pieces', made of bits and pieces of fabric in bits and pieces of time. However, one of our cats is really hindering my progress, since the moment I lay down the work, she chooses exactly that spot to sleep on...

Welcome from Michigan! Love your quilt! My sister Mary only does hand quilting too, and doesn't have a sewing machine either. This is a great forum!

Beautiful quilt you are making. I think your cat is telling you she needs her own quilt.

Welcome to the board. Run a trail of treats from the cat off to somewhere else away from the quilt. Or just move the cat. No sewing? All hand pieced? no wonder. But it is beautiful! Love the colors!
