Sewfine it is stored carefully, but once i get the room set up and get it out I would love to share it with you all. My avatar is actually a picture of my Great Gramma Abby Hedges who made the quilt.

Hi from Connecticut!I did fashion sewing - kids clothes, christening gowns, heirloom sewing and toys before I started quilting. I used to belong to the Threads magazine forum but they did not have much on quilting and someone referred me here. Its a great board! I learned a LOT about quilting tips and tricks in the first 6 months I was on and think my quilting improved pretty dramatically. Its addictive! (Especially the fabrics....)

How neat you have your gramma's vintage machine, there is a section on the board just for vintage machines and you'll gain so much help and knowledge here at QB. I'm sure you treasure your gramma's hand pieced and stitched quilt. You can find tutorials here to help and youtube.com has many videos on all types of quilting.
