Hi Gal, yes I did notice your arrival. lovely work you do.
Isn't it great being able to share our work with others.
I always have time to oggle other peoples quilts. thats why
we stay in hiding for so long. so rude aren't we. lol.
I'm so busy sending messages, forgot to put the roast in.
dinner is a bit late tonight. lol

I love both your Buzzy Bee quilts. How cute. I bought a Buzzy Bee for my niece a couple of years ago and she loved it (until she got to big for that kind of toy.)

Welcome to the board. There are plenty of us here from Downunder.

Hello Faye - Love your bee quilts and the applique roses are absolutely gorgeous - look forward to seeing the finished wallhanging.

As for children leaving and coming back - take it all in your stride dear - I have now 43yr old back home-years of working up north in mining then spending every 7th weekend in Bali; driving trucks up and down the State of WA etc he didn't need home of his own until 4 yrs ago when he offered to buy only to be thwarted by work accident a month later; wrecked his right shoulder then 6 months later hurt back left wrist and left ankle sandwiched in midst of 4-car pile-up whilst on work errand - 4 years next month, and he's still suffering after 4-5 surgeries, ongoing suffering etc and still fighting for compensation - up to 41% disabled and unable to do what he trained for - no matter how old, they will always be our children

Gee thats bad luck for your family. My 22 yr old son arrived in
WA in Jan. now at Tom Price and working at mine. dump truck
driving. loves it. Also does a 2nd job on days off, cleaning machinery as doesn't like sitting around too much. has done digger driving since 17yrs. we are
quite excited for him. other son is hoping to join him some time, also a driver. of course Bali beckons for the surf. lots of
opportunities if health keeps up. WA is a long way away though, won't be visiting in a hurry. might be easier to meet up
in Bali. or Surfers our favourite place to go. every 5 yrs if we're
lucky. lol

so decided to flag it and look again. is annoying though as have
sat for a week idling, but ready to run. will be racing around
today looking. lol
