Welcome from another Michigander. We all have families with challenges and joys. Jump into a couple of the groups on the QB and you will find fiends galore. Find a quilting happy place and then stretch just a little to try something new. Ask questions, we all have answers and opinions that we share freely Nice to have you along.

Hey Shannon, I put away Aunt Debbie's project for a week or so but got it back out yesterday and thought of you! Hope you are still visiting with us.

Hello Shannon and welcome to the QB! There are many people here from all over the world that quilt to give stress relief, myself included. There are tons of people who will share new techniques here and a world of information to be had. We also love to see each other's work here so jump right in and enjoy the fun. Again welcome to the QB.

Hi Shannon, Where in MD are you located? My mom is looking for quilting friends and or friends in general. She lives in Laurel, MD. She's 80 years old and she too has back problems. Would you like me to introduce her to you?

Hi Shannon,

I hope you are still coming around.

Families ( or some of the family members) can be a source of great comfort and support- sometimes not so much.

Hello Shannon. I live in central Florida and I have enjoyed this quilt board so much. Is there a quilt guild in your area? That would be a great place to make friends and learn new quilting techniques. I hope and pray your daughter returns to the family. That must be really rough. I have 3 daughters and one of them went through a rebellious stage but she is now a loving and sweet daughter that I thank God for every day of my life.
