Default New member, new quilter!
Hello everyone,

I am from the UK, I've been doing different crafts all my life but only sewing for a little while, and I have never quilted anything, despite really, really wanting to have a go. I just found the maple leaf mug rug tutorial (Maple Leaf Mug Rugs - Pictorial Tutorial & Pattern) and am going to try it tonight as soon as the sprogs are in bed - no chance of any peace and quiet with a three year old and an almost two year old! I love Autumn colours, and leaf designs, so this is just perfect, I hope I can do it justice!

Welcome from Baltimore, Maryland! You'll do just fine but I know what you mean about sewing with the kids. I watch my granddaughter aged 18 months and just one is a handful. Happy quilting!!
