A New Member with questions
Hi, I am here for the first time today. I was wondering...is there a daily email that is sent of new topics?
Also, I have noticed that some people are senior members, some junior...and since I am new, I am a member. How does this work?
I am trying to explore the internet and my local stores for interesting fabric. I had a recent bad experience with overpriced fabric at a local shop...what is the best place for fabric, panels, and supplies?
Looking forward to learning more about quilting!!!

Welcome from VT - I think there is a daily email, I have never gotten it but others will know.
the membership status just depends on how many posts you have.
Not sure if there is any one "Best" place to buy fabric - the thrill is in the hunt!! Again, others will have recommendations.

Welcome to the board. I get a daily email from the board.
As for status- it depends on how active you are but I don't pay much attention to that.
As for quilting supplies- I have some of my personal favorites:
Missouri Star Quilt Company- wonderful fabrics, and Jenny has a tutorial every Friday. They are so much fun and I've made many of her quilts.
Love fabric.com as well. Craftsy is another good site.
I don't buy much locally anymore. I love buying online. I like certain lines of fabric, such as Moda, Michael Miller, Jinny Beyer and others. Once you know what you like it's easy (and dangerous lol) to find what you want.
I get supplies from a number of sources- even Amazon.
