This is this first time I have posted anything. I am a new member. I have a question for anybody that can help me. I have a lot of small pieces of material some match and some don't. I don't know what to do with them. I have been quilting for a few years now and love it. I can do real good on making the quilt but I have a lot of problems with the binding. I can never get the binding the look good. Can anyone help me?

Hi Jewelps and welcome to the board from Washington State.

There is a great site that will show you ways to use up your small pieces fo material to make quilts at:

http://www.quiltville.com/

As for your binding question I know there are many, many more people here better suited to answer that question. I can tell you that when I got stuck on a binding a while back I found a YouTube video that helped me out. It was good to actually SEE someone show how to attach a binding.

Greetings from Northern CA. Sounds like you have a scrappy stash. The scrappy quilts are so IN right now and there are TONS of patterns available.

Welcome from Southern California. I love to make "scrap" quilts with lots of different fabrics, they don't match? who cares, use value to get a great look, light/dark/ med. I can't help much, I am a gimp right now and am severely limited on my typing ability
