New quilter??? from Northeast PA
#22
Ok if you're near binghampton, NY then you're about an hour away from Shohola, A and where I live in NY. Apple Valley and Shohola are near Milford PA. Apple Valley has a bunch of quaint little shops and restaurants. Nice antiquing. Really fun.

Mrs. Theo: Late as it is, I still want to send my WELCOME to the board. I somehow missed your post back in February. Hope you enjoy your time with us and get very inspired as I always am. Glad you joined us.

I also missed your posting last February. Welcome from a fellow Northeast PA person. I am in Lehman, Luzerne County, about 45 minutes south of Scranton. About 1 1/2 hrs. from the border with New York and 2 hrs. from Lancaster, 1 hr. away from Williamsport. Deep in the middle of nowhere.

welcome Miss Theo! So glad you joined in. I didn't even have the guts to take sewing in school...:0)I took shop instead:))I have learned here too about 3yrs ago....and, quilting is why too:))You will love it all! Find a pattern that has many different blocks...you will learn so much from doing them (I did!). I still am trying to master the perfect arena...and as my friend says 'if you can't see it on a galloping horse, it don't count'...so, I hold on to that thought:))Keep us posted on your creativity!!
