Welcome from central Alabama. I, too, am self taught. Just remember, 1) there are no quilt police, and 2) your quilt, your rules.

Hi from one North Carolinian to another, although now in So. Cal., but still consider NC my home.

Statesville, also about 45 minutes from Charlotte.

It is a baseball quilt for my great nephew that lives in Greenville, NC.

I wish I did still live there, I would love to help you. Have you been to Mary Jo's?

You will learn a lot by being on the board. You will do great. Don't hesitate to ask questions. I have been quilting from over 25 years and still learn something everyday on this board.

I haven't been to Mary Jo's either, plan on going there in april. Tilley's has been around forever.

You never know, it is a very small world. I do come home quite a bit.
